#1 of 10 Weight loss tips you should be doing everyday

It’s a gorgeous day out here in CT. I was just enjoying the sunshine and getting very motivated to get myself into great shape for the summer. There are so many things I do everyday to keep myself healthy and I would like to share them with you. These tips can help you lose or maintain your weight.

Tip #1: Drink a FULL glass of water in the morning.

Don’t skimp on this one, I feel it’s one of the most important. Most of us go straight for the coffee or breakfast food before anything. Drinking a tall glass of water, preferably with a fresh squeezed lemon wedge will do your body a ton of good. Increase to 2-3 or more glasses as you get your body accustomed to it’s new habit.

  • Weight Loss: Help speed up your progress by drinking more water and control your calorie intake. Keep a bottle with you at all times.
  • Detox: Your body detoxes while your sleep and as soon as you eat your body stops. Drinking water prolongs the detox process and helps flush toxins out of the body.
  • Hydration: We lose water while we sleep and it is important to replenish your bodies supply upon waking up.
  • Energy: Ever wake up feeling terribly groggy and can’t seem to shake it, resulting in your consuming caffeine for a boost? Your body may be begging for a drink.  You will likely find that you don’t need as much coffee, if any at all.
  • Healthy Glow: You will notice you skin, hair and nails improve. My acne was greatly reduced by consuming water in the morning and throughout the day. Who doesnt want to look better?
  • Pain Reduction: Are you waking up with headaches, backaches etc? Or even as your day progresses? Water may help alleviate your pain sensations.
  • Constipation: Although there are many reasons to be constipated (ie. not enough fiber) I know when I am, it’s always because I haven’t drank enough water. So glad this VERY rarely occurs for me now!
